Workshop held at EFMI Special Topic Conference

The project partners have organised a first workshop at the EFMI Special Topic Conference (STC) held in Timișoara, Romania on 27-29 November. The workshop was part of the opening plenary events of the conference and included the participation of over 150 STC conference participants.


The workshop was titled "Data-driven Approaches in Healthcare" and addressed key topics related to the INSAFEDARE project including:

  • Data Challenges Facing Medical Industry

  • Hazard Modes in Data-driven approaches

  • Use of Real Data and Synthetic Data

The workshop included finished with a robust exchange on the experiences and concerns of medical informatics practitioners and the need for further innovations in technologies that enable greater use of AI while maintaining required safety requirements.


The EFMI Special Topic Conference 2024 was organized by the Romanian Society of Medical Informatics, as national member society of EFMI, and hosted by Politehnica University of Timișoara.
