INSAFEDARE Final Webinar Series: From Data to Decision Recording

As the INSAFEDARE project approaches its final stage, the consortium launched its Final Webinar Series with the first session, “From Data to Decision: Demonstrating the INSAFEDARE Tools,” held online on 21 October 2026.

The webinar focused on how the tools and technologies developed within INSAFEDARE can support the use of real-world and synthetic data in trustworthy and evidence-based regulatory decision-making for digital health and medical devices.

From Research to Practical Tools

During the session, INSAFEDARE partners presented and demonstrated key project solutions developed to address challenges around data integration, assurance and regulatory evidence.

Through practical demonstrations, participants were introduced to tools supporting areas including data discovery and integration, synthetic data generation, assurance processes and evidence management, illustrating how research developed throughout the project can be translated into practical support for regulatory decision-making.

The session also highlighted the broader INSAFEDARE vision: enabling more efficient and reliable use of data throughout the lifecycle of digital health technologies while maintaining strong requirements for quality, privacy and regulatory compliance.

Sharing the Outcomes of INSAFEDARE

The webinar formed part of the project's final dissemination activities, providing an opportunity for medical device manufacturers, regulators, assessors, researchers and healthcare professionals to explore the solutions developed by the consortium and their potential real-world applications.

As INSAFEDARE moves towards its final European Commission review and project closure, the Final Webinar Series provides an important opportunity to share the project's results, tools and accumulated knowledge with the wider digital health and regulatory community.
