Syntho is a technology company specializing in privacy-preserving data solutions. Within the INSAFEDARE project, Syntho brings applied market insights and cutting-edge expertise in synthetic data generation, bridging the gap between research and real-world application. The company’s role focuses on transforming R&D outcomes into production-ready, scalable synthetic data solutions, combining AI-based, rule-based, and mock data techniques. This hybrid approach ensures that datasets remain both highly useful and privacy-preserving, supporting the safe and ethical use of data in healthcare and beyond.

Recent Progress

Over the past months, Syntho has made substantial progress in advancing its hybrid synthetic data generation framework. The team has enhanced the Syntho Engine to flexibly combine AI synthesis with rule-based generation and synthetic mock data, improving both data realism and privacy control. Key milestones include the finalization of the sequence and multi-table data generation pipeline (D4.2), improvements in model modularity for third-party integrations, and the implementation of configurable rule-based mockers capable of handling complex data dependencies and structures.

Research Deliverables

The company continues to contribute to research deliverables and is preparing to share Deliverable 4.2—detailing progress on hybrid synthetic data generation—in the coming weeks.
